Placing an Order:

When placing an order with Blue Lake Offroad for a custom fabrication product, we do not immediately ship due to the unique, custom nature of our products, the materials and labor involved, and supply chain lead times. 

  • You must be 18 years of age to make any purchases
  • The checkbox on the checkout page is your acknowledged to these Terms and Conditions
  • Invoice: You will receive an invoice for your purchase sent to the email address provided at time of purchase. This email will be your formal confirmation of your order details. You must review it and contact us if any information is incorrect prior to Blue Lake building your bumper.  Please email us at any time if you have any questions during the process, were happy to talk with you. We will email you when  your order is nearing completion
  • Check with the sales department for estimated lead times, schedules will vary. Cusotm builds require all features defined prior to start the build process, with rare exceptions like adding a grill guard or something externalk like that.   
  • Payments/Discounts: 
    • A deposit of 50% can be made in lieu of full payment if you prefer. Full payment is required before upon start of assembly. Please contact us to make this arrangement. 
    • If you prefer to pay using a personal check, we will need to hold the order up to 10 business days for the check to clear before the order is submitted for fabrication. We cannot accept personal checks at time of delivery, all balances must be paid in full prior to taking delivery, with signature 
    • All products and services must be paid for prior to delivery, install, or pickup. 
    • We cannot ship to a PO box, a verifiable physical address is needed 
    • International customers outside of North America must use ACH, please contact the office for details.
    • A 5% discount is available, with proof of service, to any active duty Military, Police or Fire Department member. 
    • Sales Tax: Orders shipped within the state of Georgia will be charged a sales tax at the current rate. Sales tax for orders shipped outside the state of Georgia is not charged or withheld and is the sole responsibility of the customer
    • We reserve the right to terminate any customer who does not behave in a professsional, respectful manner

Changes to your order: A Change Request, such as adding or deleteing a feature, must be submitted by the customer in writing, via an email, and only becomes official once recieevd and acknowledged by Blue Lake Offroad. Phone calls are not accepted as official change requests. Changes may affect the lead time depending on when you make the change and what the change is. Added cost may be incurred if the change requires recutting steel or added engineering CAD time. 

Storage of completed orders: We do not have any storage facilities and cannot keep orders on site. Once your order is complete, S&H fees need to be taken care of at that point upon receining your quote. We can only hold your order in the shop for (3) days whch starts on the day you receive your quote. If you exceed the 3 days, your order will be placed it in storage. There is a one time transfer fee of $75 and daily storage rate of $10 with first installment due upon transfer. Once the storage fees reach 50% value of your order, and you have not settled your full balances due, we will liquidate the product due to the custom nature, there is no restocking option, to cover the cost of the storage and any other outstanding balances, and close the order. No refunds will be issued for any reason at this point. 

Refund & Cancellation Policy: Due to the custom, build to order, nature of our products, cancellations and refunds on total build costs are handled as following:

  • Cancellations must be done the same day of placing an order to avoid any fees
  • Any cancellation within the first three days but before work begins will have a minimal processing fee of 5% applied if paid for by credit card where processing fees apply
  • Any special engineering, analysis, design, prototyping, or labor in general, requested by the customer, is non-refundable, regardless of time of cancellation
  • A 50% cancellation fee will apply if the order is cancelled after the three day window, but prior to final assembly 
  • A 100% cancellation fee is applicable orders that are in final assembly or complete

The custom fabrication such as bumpers, etc, will ship via LTL (Less than Truckload) with various trucking companies, so depending on geographical location and shipping destination, the actual cost and time to deliver and carrier will vary. 

  • The product will be packaged as required to assure common carrier acceptance. All claims by the customer for shortages or damage, as a result of transit, are to be made promptly to the trucking company/shipper with a copy to Blue Lake Offroad at time of delivery
  • Since every build is different, we cannot tell you the shipping cost up front until the bumper is built, placed on a pallet, and weighed/measured.  
  • We ship to all US States, Canada, Australia, as well as all countries in Europe, and Central/South America. Hawaii and all International will be quoted with an international carrier.
  • Transit time in USA 48 is usually within 5-10 days delivery travel time, from our location to your destination in most circumstances. This is entirely up to the carrier.
  • For separate accessories items such as lights., winches, etc., these items will typically ship within 1-3 days and delivery transit time is based on ground service times, usually around 2-3 days
  • All shipments from Blue Lake Offroad are F.O.B. and are the property of the customer once it leaves the our dock
  • Shipping Damage in transit:
    • If anything is damaged in shipment it must be reported to the driver at time of delivery and recorded on the shipping paperwork with the driver, that you will need to sign. Take pictures of everythng when it arrives. All shipments are insured, but the carriers will not honor after the fact claims. Please contact us priomptly as well. 
    • Do not refuse the shipment as a representative from the carrier will most likely need to inspect the damage. If it does become necessary to return it, the return shipment will be arranged if Blue Lake has issued an RMA. It is also most helpful if pictures can be taken before the packages are unwrapped
    • Please fully examine your package before signing for it. If you do not report damage to the carrier at the time of delivery, there is usually very little we can do to help you. All shipments are insured by the carrier
    • Be sure to be home when your bumper is delivered if residential delivery is requested. If you suspect there may be hidden damage, make the delivery driver wait and open the package
    • Always take pictures and document with the driver
  • If you request delivery options not originally part of the shipping quote with the trucking company after it ships (examples: residential instead of commercial, lift gate delivery add, appointment delays, inside delivery, etc), there will be an additional charge as determined by the freight carrier that you are responsible for
  • Unless you tell us otherwise, we will re-bill the same credit card you used when you placed the order. Were happy to use a different form of payment if you let us know ahead of time. 


  • Blue Lake Offroad custom bumpers, and other fabricated accessory products we build, have a one year warranty from date of shipment against faulty materials or workmanship. Normal usage requirements apply.
  • All affected parts must be returned to the factory prepaid - with full credit issued for those parts found to be defective as determined by Blue Lake. If applicable, warranty replacement parts will be shipped from the factory prepaid to you. A review process will be needed with typically pictures provided by the customer and some information gathering to determine the best approach.
  • Warranty claims will cover replacement or repair of the products, on our discretion, due to a manufacturing defect in our product once Blue Lake Off-road has investigated the claim by verified the issue with clear evidence is required. 
  • All claims relating to missing hardware or accessories must be filed with 3 days of delivery
  • We do not cover damages due to shipping or any shipping charges, it is the responsibility of the customer to file a claim with the carrier who delivered it to you. The company who transported your bumper is responsible for all damages. See shipping section for more details
  • You are responsible for any shipping fees if the investigation by Blue Lake shows there is no defect of workmanship.
  • We are not responsible for abusive use or damage sustained while in use

  • There are no warranties, express or implied, including the warranty of merchantability or a warranty of fitness and/or alignment issues on the vehicle itself on your vehicle
  • If there is a defect in our workmanship however, before returning any product, contact a customer service representative to request an (RAN) Return Authorization Number. If a RAN is authorized by Blue Lake Offroad, this RAN must be placed on the outside of the returned package along with a copy of the original invoice and returned to the Merchandise Return Address provided by Blue Lake Offroad. We will give you specific shipping instructions due to the complex shipping requirements of much of our product
  • Do not ship as a return without contacting Blue Lake Off-road first, we will discuss the issue with you, possible workarounds, and if a return is needed, a RAN will be issued to you
  • All other merchandise found on www.bluelakeoffroad.com such as consumer electronics, lights, winches, or other non-fabricated products have no additional warranty from Blue Lake Offroad other than that supplied by the particular product manufacturer. We do not warranty any electrical circuits, switches other vehicle chassis related components. 

The majority of Blue Lake Offroad products are intended for off highway or off road vehicle use only and may not be legal on Department of Transportation controlled roads, especially where custom fabrication products are installed on your vehicle. Please consult your local and state regulations.

  • We cannot guarantee fitness and/or alignment issues on the vehicle itself due to variations in factory assembly and configuration changes by the OEM, vehicle wear, and other factors which can affect fit. Some bumpers may require minor welding or modifications, due to variations in some makes and models or fit and finish. Most will bolt right in, but some will require some minor modifications. We recommend your new high-strength steel bumper be installed by a qualified technician
  • Images seen on the website are sample-only pictures and may not exactly represent the product as we do make design improvements and do not yet always have photos available. We make no offer of compensation for customer pictures used. Sample pictures usually show optional equipment not included in base price and in some rare cases have additional customer installed equipment not available in options menus online
  • Ensure all products are installed by a qualified technician to ensure proper fit and performance
  • We assume no liability for any incidents incurred while using our products. 
  • We want all our customers to be safe and use common sense and caution when exploring the outdoors, so have fun and enjoy your new product! :o)
